What is Merchandising?

The Merchandising concentration is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of the apparel and textile industry. The curriculum prepares students for exciting careers in retailing, management, and fashion promotion.  Students can channel their sense of style and business savvy into a career where they buy and promote the latest fashions to consumers. Graduates are eligible for positions as assistant buyers, managers, or consultants.
