Facts about the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences – Fall 2015

Credentialing Statistics

For the past 5 years:

  • Twenty-six (26) students completed the certification exam for Family and Consumer Sciences Education with 25 passing (96% pass rate).
  • Ninety-nine (99) students completed the ServSafe  credentialing exam with 80 passing (81% pass rate)
  • Sixteen (16) DPD students applied to dietetic internships with thirteen (13) being accepted (81% acceptance rate)

Enrollment

Enrollment in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences increased by more than 18 % from 2008 through 2013 and remained stable in 2014 & 2015.
