Facts about the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences – Fall 2013

Credentialing Statistics

For the past 5 years:

  • Twenty-six (26) students completed the certification exam for Family and Consumer Sciences Education with 25 passing (96% pass rate).
  • Seventy (70) students completed the ServSafe  credentialing exam with 63 passing (84% pass rate)
  • Twelve (12) DPD students applied to dietetic internships with 9 being accepted (75% acceptance rate)

Enrollment

Enrollment in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences increased by more than 18 % during the past 6 years (1548 students enrolled in 2008 to 1897 students enrolled in 2013).
