Dr. Roben Taylor is an Assistant Professor of Special Education and currently serves as the advisor for our Collaborative K-6 and 6-12 traditional graduate programs. She also serves as the Faculty Advisor for the Student Council of Exceptional Children.
Dr. Taylor has been teaching at JSU for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the special education undergraduate and graduate programs since 2009. She began her career in education in 1989, working in higher education beginning in 2000. She holds degrees in elementary education, school counseling, and special education.
Dr. Taylor's research interests include multicultural responsive teaching, adolescents with learning disabilities, and social media in higher education.
