Dr. Tracy Windle received a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Freed Hardeman University and a Masters of Library Science as well as a doctorate in Secondary Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Alabama. Prior to teaching at Jacksonville State, she has taught adjunct classes and served as a graduate assistant. During her years in K-12, she served as school librarian as well as a Reading and Language Arts teacher. Her research interests include preservice teachers’ beliefs and practices, literacy education, and adolescent literacy. Dr. Windle advises students in the Fifth Year Education Program.
