Dr. Sheila Anne Webb received her Ph.D. at the University of Iowa in English and Education with cognate areas in reading, writing, and cognitive development. Over the years, Dr. Webb has expanded her interests into such areas as ethics, multicultural diversity, and issues related to the human condition.
Dr. Webb has worked in higher education at the University of Iowa, State University of New York in Albany, California State University system at Humboldt, and Jacksonville State University. Additionally, she served as a consultant to the national educational system in Indonesia.
Currently, Dr. Webb serves as full professor teaching mainly graduate master's and educational specialist classes. A sampling of courses she's taught includes Educational Leadership, Philosophy of Education, Social Foundations of Educations, Psychological Principles of Learning, Reading, and Curriculum Leadership. She advises English Language Arts students in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
