The goals of this department are to maintain, improve and expand the communications services rendered by the telephone system; to provide channels of communication for all constituents of the University so as to permit an easy exchange of ideas, information and data as necessary to meet the administrative and academic challenges faced; to provide modern, dependable services at a reasonable cost to the user; to operate the system at a profit level which insures an annual accumulation of revenue to be used to fund updating and replacing of the software and hardware as technology changes
