Master of Public Administration with a Concentration in Education
This concentration is designed for the student seeking knowledge and core competencies to become effective public administrators in the area education not related to teaching. This concentration is designed more for the student who wants to work in education in the capacity of a mid-level manager at a university or nonprofit organization focusing on educational issues.
Hours to Complete: A total of 39 - 40 semester hours is required for this degree program. The student must complete 15-16 semester hours in the education concentration courses, 18 semester hours in required public administration courses, and six semester hours of electives (three semester hours of electives if an internship is required).
