Hobbies:

Bikeriding; Collecting hand made smoking pipes (preferably Italian, such as Luigi Viprati, Mastra de Paja, Tommaso Spanu, and others); Reading; Walking; Cooking; Gardening; and Antiquing. 
Favorite Movies: 
My favorite is the director's cut of Cinema Paradiso (three + hours long).  Also, and not in any particular order, The Princess Bride; The Wizard of Oz; It's a Wonderful Life; A Bronx Tale; and Life is Beautiful (also director's cut).  Let's get real here, can anyone deny that other movies such as Van Wilder, Orange County, The Emperor's Club, Field of Dreams, or Bull Durham deserve some credit too?
Favorite Places: 
Fern Canyon in Humboldt County, California; Olympic National Park in Washington; the Pacific Northwest in general; Las Vegas, Nevada; the Plaza in Kansas City; the Old Market in Omaha; New England; and Little River Canyon in Alabama.  However, my favorite place in the entire world is Ariano Irpino, in the province of Avellino, Italia. It's heaven.
Gus:

Gus was born on December 17, 1997. He was a Blue Heeler/Brittany Spaniel mix. He was extremely protective and was always smiling. His hobbies included chasing squirrels, rabbits, and mail carriers; he also loved to run in the park and fetch anything that was thrown. Gus now resides over the rainbow bridge.
