The Department of Military Science (ROTC) offers 2, 3, and 4 year scholarships to undergraduate students that cover the cost of tuition, fees, and $900 per year for the cost of books.  Two year scholarships are available for students interested in attending graduate school.  Dormitory scholarships are also available to eligible students.  ROTC students also earn the following tax free spending allowance each month:

             $300 - freshmen                 $350 - sophomores          $450 - juniors          $500 - seniors

     Tuition assistance and extra pay is available for cadets who join the Alabama National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserve.
