Qualifications for Enlistment

    Candidates for membership in the Alabama Army National Guard SMP/ROTC program…

 Ø       Currently enrolled MS II, III or MS IV ROTC Cadet

 Ø       Be MS II or meet criteria within one year

Ø       Be of good moral character

Ø       Meet height and weight standards 

Ø       Be US Citizen / Foreign National willing to obtain US Citizenship within eight years of service

 Ø       Have no pending police involvement (Probation, unpaid traffic tickets, etc)

Ø       Be High School Junior/Senior, HS Graduate, GED Holder, Home Study Diploma Holder, or College Student/Graduate 

Ø       Age 17 - 29.
