Multicultural Psychology


Spring 2007

Multicultural Psychology is a course designed to inform students about the causes and consequences of stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination. There are two textbooks used in the course this term. One textbook focuses on theories and empirical research on these topics. The second text has excerpts from popular books, political statements, laws, religious texts, and so forth designed to illustrate how prejudice and discrimination are present in everyday life.
