Current Research :

1. Studies on the Synthesis, Characterization, and Crystal Structure Properties of simple and Optically Active, Medicinally useful Compounds and their applications to Synthetic and Bio-polymers

2. Studies on the addition verses isomerization reactions of a¸ß-unsaturated carbonyl compounds – Role of organic reaction studies in understanding biotransformations

3. Studies on the effects of concentration, temperature, and varied energy conditions on the specific rotation of optical isomers

These projects will benefit the undergraduate research students with major in chemistry and minor in biology or vice versa.
