Alumni Association

I would like to invite all JSU nursing alumni to come join and be a part of the wonderful JSU Alumni Association. Your $25.00 annual membership fee or $250.00 lifetime membership fee makes you the most important part of the Alumni Association --- an active member. We, as graduates of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences (or the nursing program), have a Nursing Alumni Chapter that is an important part of the JSU National Alumni Association. Be proud of our University and be a part of your Alumni Association. You will receive an annual issue of the Nursing Alumni News as well as 2 to 3 annual issues of the "Gem of the Hills." It's a great way to keep informed about events and activities happening in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the University, and you'll stay informed about your former classmates through the alumni updates included in the above publications.

I am excited to report to you that we have established our very first Nursing Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund through the JSU Foundation. You can now make your tax-deductible contributions to the JSU Foundation in the name of the Nursing Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund. Through your generous contributions and continued support, we will be able to assist a worthy nursing student achieve his/her goals and dreams, just as we have been able to do as nurses today. Remember, it is a tax-deductible contribution and every penny will go directly toward the scholarship fund.

The JSU National Alumni Association will MATCH whatever funds we raise! That is one reason why I encourage you to become dues-paying members of the JSU Alumni Association itself.

I would like to close by saying I am proud to represent each of you as President of the Nursing Chapter of what I consider the greatest alumni association --- our own at JSU. I encourage each of you to be a part of the exciting things that continue to happen at our University through ourAlumni Association and become involved in its activities . I look forward to seeing and speaking with each of you at the upcoming alumni events about which you will receive timely notices in the future.
