Learning Assistant
The English Competency Exam is required for all graduating students.
We have qualified learning assistants to find and analyze your writing
flaws and shape them to perfection.
The remediation process consists of
the completion of six passing essays. Students can accomplish this by
taking LS 096 or receiving individual tutoring. Students who are
remediating through LS 096 are required to sign up for the the course
during registration. This class can also be audited if you are a
fulltime student. ECE “remediation” LS 096, a course for students who
do not pass the ECE, generates an average of 110 credit hours per year.
ECE remediation assistance generates 315 credit hour equivalence
yearly.
Approximately 88% of students who remediate in LS pass the ECE on the
next attempt.
