Courtney Peppers-Owen is the Assistant Director of Learning Services (LS). She came to Learning Services as a student worker in 2000. She graduated from JSU in 2002 with her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in English and from JSU in 2006 with her M.A. in English.

She assists the Director, Dr. Claudia McDade, through coordinating the learning assistant program for LS, specializing in English Competency Exam Remediation. In addition, she assists faculty and staff with departmental, as well as College of Arts & Sciences needs. In 2007 she began Adjunct Teaching in LS' Academic Success Skills courses.

Her summers are spent assisting the LS director in readying for the developmental studies program, ExSEL (Experiencing Success in Education & Life).
