GEOLOGY

Geology studies the forces and processes that affect the earth. It is concerned with earth materials, resources, and the history of the earth. A two-semester sequence of geology courses is offered to fulfill the University general studies natural science requirement. Students interested in earth science are encouraged to consider a major/minor in Physical Geography.
