AlabamaView is a statewide consortium formed from existing programs conducting remote sensing research, education and outreach for the benefit of the citizens of Alabama.

One of the specific goals of AlabamaView is to fund educational programs in remote sensing and other geospatial information technologies with practical applications that initiate quality education.

The overall objective is to expose high school students to the availability and the utility of acquiring and applying remote sensing to environmental and urban development problems.
