Are you a high school junior (class of 2009) or senior (class of 2008)?

Are you interested in majoring in engineering or technology, but want to learn more about these fields?

At the JSU Technology Summer Institute, you will:

  • Participate in exciting exercises in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), robot design, introductory computer programming, drafting, and rapid prototyping.
  • Visit two local manufacturing facilities that use the latest technology advancements to produce their products.
  • Learn about transits and right-angle trigonometry in an outdoor instrumentation demonstration.
  • Hear from recent graduates and JSU Technology & Engineering faculty to learn more about JSU's program offerings and post-graduation career opportunities.

In addition to a great learning experience, consider these added benefits:

  • Each student who successfully completes the 5-day program will receive a $250 expense stipend and a certificate of completion.
  • All noon meals are included for Institute participants (served in JSU's Jack Hopper Dining Hall).
