National Employee Health & Fitness Day^TM

Last year, Jacksonville State University participated for the first time in National Employee Health & Fitness Day™. This event is held the third (3rd) Wednesday in May each year. Administered annually by the National Association for Health & Fitness, NEHF is a national health observance, created to promote the benefits of physical activity for individuals through their work site health promotion activities. Founded in 1989 National Employee Health and Fitness Day has enlisted tens of thousands of participants from employers around the world. 

JSU will once again be participating in NEHF Day.It will be observed on Wednesday, May 20 at 12:00 p.m. on the TMB Front Lawn.  The day will include participation from local vendors who may be giving away door prizes, coupons, etc..., demonstrations of group fitness exercises, a healthy lunch, snacks and a one mile FUN walk around JSU's campus to promote the day.
 

A T-shirt is being sold to help promote NEHF Day and the cost is $10.00. The design is available for viewing at the website listed on the registration form. with payment no later than May 4^th.  Participation in the event itself is FREE, but a completed registration form is needed even if no shirt is purchased.  Please return forms without shirt orders no later than May 19^th to the indicated address or fax the form to 256-782-8013.
