Intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and moral development in the school age person. Tutoring practicum required.
EPY 442G
Educational Measurement (2). Measurement/evaluation of students' academic progress and basic statistical principles. Construction and uses of teacher-made tests and standardized achievement tests are emphasized.
EPY 525G
Lifespan Development (3).
A study of principles and concepts of physical, cognitive, personality, and social development from birth through death.
EPY 592G
Individual/Group Appraisal (3).
Underlying concepts of assessment methods, practice in administration and interpretation of standardized tests, and evaluation of assessment instruments and programs. (PSY 521 may be taken in lieu of this course upon approval of the Counselor Education advisor.) Prerequisite: EFD 501 or equivalent.
