Dr. Lowry teaches the following courses:

• EED 362 Teaching Science (all undergraduate students)

• EED 541 Teaching Mathematics (all graduate students)

• EED 549 Reflective Teaching Practices (“traditional” graduate students only)

• EED 642 Writing for Professional Publications (Ed.S. students only)

She has been a faculty member at JSU since 1987 as well as the Program Chair of Elementary Education (EED) since 1997. One of her main areas has been to work with incoming freshmen and transfer students during the orientation/registration process.  She currently (since August 2000) serves as the Department Head.
