Dr. Gardner is an
Assistant Professor of Collaborative Teacher/Special Education. She teaches
a variety of undergraduate and graduate SPE courses. Dr. Gardner is a
highly qualified K-12 collaborative teacher and has self-contained,
resource, and inclusive classroom experience at the elementary, middle, and
secondary levels. She serves as a member of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters
Advisory Council, as the advisor to the Student Council for Exceptional
Children (SCEC) on campus. Dr. Gardner is the Publications Chair for the
Alabama Federation for the Council for Exceptional Children (AFCEC) Dr. Gardner is the
