ATP Special Interest Groups (SIG)


  The ATP Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) provide members an opportunity to join others with similar academic interests in tutoring.
  SIG’s represent the specific interests of each group. Members join others who have similar interests and benefit from:

  • Identifying professional development needs
  • Networking with others with similar interests
  • Sharing information from your SIG on specific activities through the ATP Newsletter. 
  • Serving on SIG steering committee.
    Serving in elected leadership positions within the SIG.
  • Participating in roundtables related to SIG topics.

Getting Involved with the ATP


  SIG’s for the ATP will be formed at the 2005 conference.  Take a leadership position when you register for the conference and indicate which SIG you would like to join.  If you do not see the SIG for you, contact either Jack Truschel or Beth Nikopoulos via the ATP website for instructions on how to create it.  Current SIG recommendations include:
