Synergy is a bi-annual, peer-reviewed online periodical published by The Association for the Tutoring Profession. It focuses on tutoring practices that enhance academic learning in all sectors (K-12, college and university, commercial, government).

Synergy is dedicated to presenting articles via the most dynamic, interactive technology that is available.

Theory, practice, vision, and commentary all have a place in Synergy. Articles generally fall into one of four main categories.

• Applied Research and Assessment: Evidence related to the extent, effectiveness, and/or impact of tutoring use in educational and professional settings

• Practice: Reports on innovative uses of tutoring in specific environments, with notable results

• Development: Advance information on the newest tutoring projects, programs, tools, and trends

• Commentary: Critical reflections on the changing nature of tutoring, learning, and training tutors
