Membership Categories

Professional Membership $30

Professional membership shall be open to any person whose designated employment responsibility is to enhance postsecondary opportunities for students with disabilities. Each professional member shall pay annual dues, shall have one vote on all matters on which members are entitled to vote, and shall be eligible to hold office.

Institutional Membership $40

Institutional membership shall be open to postsecondary organizations. An Institutional Member shall be entitled to appoint an individual member who shall pay no individual membership fees, but who shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of Professional Membership, including the right to vote and hold office.

Associate Membership $30

Associate membership may be open to any individual or organization not eligible for professional or institutional membership, who supports the purposes of Alabama AHEAD. An organization desiring Associate Membership may appoint an individual member, who shall pay no individual annual membership dues, but who shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of Associate Membership. An Associate member may attend meetings and have voice but no vote, and shall be ineligible for office.

Student Membership $15

Student membership shall be open to any person enrolled in postsecondary education who has an interest in promoting the purposes of Alabama AHEAD. A student member may attend meetings and have voice but no vote and shall be ineligible to hold an elected office.

Additional Institutional Membership $25

Institutional members may add additional individual members at $25 per person. These individuals shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of Professional membership.
