Non-Credit Course Policies

Non-Credit Registration and Payment Policies

Payment is due at the time of registration. For company sponsored individuals, registration(s) will be confirmed when the authorization to bill the sponsoring company has been received by the Office of Continuing Education.

You will receive a confirmation letter in the mail after we receive your registration. Please read it carefully for any updated information.

Cancellation Policy

Failure to attend a non-credit course does not constitute withdrawal. The JSU Office of Continuing Education must be notified directly. If withdrawal is made by the registrant at least one full week prior to the course's beginning, a complete refund will be obtained. Refunds will not be made available after this time. Participant substitutions may be made at any time.

Course Cancellations

Non-Credit courses are subject to cancellation, if enrollment is not sufficient. The Office of Continuing Education apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause you. In the event that a course is canceled, a registrant has the option of applying the fees paid to another course or receiving a complete refund.

Misprints

The Office of Continuing Education shall not be held responsible for misprints (typos) with regard to course fees, dates, etc. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Tax Deduction

Treasury regulations may permit an income tax deduction for educational and training exercises (registration fees, travel, meals, and lodging) taken to maintain and improve professional skills.

Course Locations

Most Continuing Education programs are held at the Jacksonville State University McClellan Center. Other courses have different locations as shown. We reserve the right to change the instructor, time, date, and room to better facilitate the program.
