Frequently Asked Questions

How do these courses work?
Each course is divided into lessons. Each lesson requires on the average of approximately (30) minutes to complete. Each lesson contains text with multiple-choice questions integrated within the text. The text is presented in small, easy-to-read and understand sentences and/or paragraphs. You'll be asked to answer some questions after a few pages of text. As you progress through the course, the program keeps track of your rate of success on the questions. Once all the text has been presented, the program will randomly go back to the questions you missed or had problems with to review them with you. You will keep working on the lesson until you have answered all the questions correctly twice. At that time, the lesson will be marked as complete on the main menu. You can quit a lesson at any time and use the bookmark feature in the program to save your place so you will not have to repeat work you've already done when you return to the lesson. We understand that on occasion a student may experience an unavoidable crisis, which may not allow them to fully complete the course within the required time. In the event this happens, you may purchase an extension. Extensions are given in two-month increments for a fee of $50.00 per each two-month extension received. However, at no time will a course extension be granted which takes a student beyond a calendar year of the original enrollment date. It is your responsibility to contact the school's administrator to request an extension. Return to FAQ Contents
