The Center for Economic Development is dedicated to assisting governments as they work
to resolve complex issues and problems. The Center maintains

An excellent working relationship exists between the CED and area governments,
as well as with the Alabama Development Office, Alabama Department of Economic
and Community Affairs, Alabama Department of Environmental Management, East Alabama
Regional Planning Commission, Small Business Administration, Office of the Governor,
and others in order to coordinate efforts and minimize duplication or overlapping of services.
