Offered Spring Term, 2007 - 12:30am - 1:30pm MWF Merrill Hall - Computer Lab 103

Students will participate in a symposium setting to conduct research and examine current issues in the field of e-commerce. The focus of the class will be on understanding new business models emerging on the Internet. Students will have the opportunity to select from a series of semester long class projects. All class materials will be drawn from data available to us on the World Wide Web and will include government documents as well and the latest research in the field. The class will consist of one session per week of discussion on assigned readings, one computer lab session to conduct team based research, and one session to report research findings and issues.

This term, we will conduct joint research sessions with students in the business school at Deakin University, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
