WELCOME! Here at Jacksonville State University we have a moto "Friendliest Campus in the South".  The biology department also would like to add that we are preparing students for the future.  In an effort to improve the learning opportunities for students in this region we have been fortunate enough to obtain a scanning electron microscope through a generous grant from the National Science Foundation (CCLI Award #0088299).  We would like to thank them for this opportunity and invite you to look over our web site.  We want to encourage participation by teachers and students in the development of this resource.
