Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

General Information
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, or MBTI, is an assessment tool that identifies personality traits. This instrument can be useful in determining career choices and gaining a better understanding of personal relationships.

The MBTI is a computer-based test, and it is administered in Counseling and Career Services.

The MBTI is offered at no charge to Jacksonville State University students. For non-JSU students, there will be a $25.00 fee for taking the MBTI. You may register in Counseling and Career Services in Room 304 of the Theron Montgomery Building.

  Scheduling an MBTI Test 
You may schedule an appointment to take the MBTI during Counseling and Career Services regular office hours (8:00am - 4:30pm).

All tests are held in Counseling and Career Services.
