    General Information
    The Strong Interest Inventory, or SII, is an assessment tool that identifies personal and vocational interests as related to specific activities and occupations. The Strong Interest Inventory is used to assist students in making decisions about majors and careers.

    The Strong Interest Inventory is a computer-based test, and it is administered in Counseling and Career Services.

    The Strong Interest Inventory is offered at no charge to Jacksonville State University students. For non-JSU students, there will be a $25.00 fee for taking the Strong Interest Inventory. You may register in Counseling and Career Services in Room 304 of the Theron Montgomery Building.

    Scheduling an SII Test
    You may schedule an appointment to take the Strong Interest Inventory during Counseling and Career Services regular office hours (8:00am - 4:30pm).

    All tests are held in Counseling and Career Services.
