Schedule a graduation audit by contacting the Advising Center at 256-782-5778, two semesters prior to planned graduation term (Information on audits is shown on Advisement & Registration page). Review on MyJSU the unofficial transcript and degree evaluation prior to the scheduled graduation audit. Note any inconsistencies to discuss during the audit.
CCBA majors must complete three exams prior to graduation:
(1) ECE - English Competency Exam. Eligibility requires 60 earned semester hours and completion of EH 101 and 102 with minimum grade of C in each course. Graduation will not occur in same semester of first attempt of ECE. Plan ahead!! The ECE should be completed prior to the audit. If you have to remediate the ECE, know the test dates AND have remediation completed prior to the test date. If you do not remediate, you will not be eligible to retake the ECE.

(2) CBASE or CLA - College Basic Academic Subjects Exam or Collegiate Learning Assessment. Eligibility requires 90 earned semester hours. CBASE - not the same as CCBA Business Test - registration and dates may be found at the following link: http://www.jsu.edu/ccservices/cbase.html. Any student who does not register and take the CBASE during the scheduled testing period must schedule a make-up test date and will incur a $50 late registration fee. The CBASE is a University requirement for graduation.
(3) CCBA Business Test - Major Field Exam administered in graduating semester and in accordance with AACSB International accreditation standards.
Registration information and dates for the CCBA Business Test each Fall and Spring will be shown below by semester. Register online via the link provided on the CCBA homepage.
Applications for Degree are available in 110 Merrill, CCBA Advising Center and online (www.jsu.edu/registrar/student_forms.html).
Items such as rings, graduation announcements, etc., may be purchased online through Josten's or at the JSU Bookstore on campus. Caps and gowns are also available at the JSU Bookstore. Price is approximately $43.
If you do not wish to participate in the Commencement ceremony, you must complete and submit the Excused From Walking Form (www.jsu.edu/registrar/graduation.html).
Late applications are not accepted for current term when submitted after deadline.
Once you have completed an audit/application, please contact Mrs. Washington if there are any changes in your graduation plans.

Graduation applications for Fall 2013 will not be accepted after September 11, 2013. Applications are now being accepted.

Audit times are 8:45 am through 11:45 am and 1:30 pm through 4:15 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am to noon on Friday. Those students who attend 100% online or 100% evening classes should email Ms. McGhee (firstname.lastname@example.org) for audit instructions.
