Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences at Jacksonville State University. With 14 departments, the College is the largest at JSU, providing general studies classes for all students of the University and offering over 40 majors from the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and criminal justice, with a wide variety of minors. With classes from art to zoology, the College is the intellectual center of Jacksonville State University, helping all students build the foundation for their future studies.
To help students achieve their greatest potential, the College emphasizes excellence in teaching in every department, with dynamic and caring faculty whose fine work in the classroom is bolstered by research, scholarship, artistic creation, and service activities.
