Current Research
| Primary areas of research are: (1) elucidation of the mechanisms of regulation within the hypothalamus/pituitary/gonad axis in snakes and (2) growth regulation and reproduction in fish. |

| I solation, cloning and characterization of gonadotropins and their receptors in the copperhead, Agkistrodon contortrix. | |

Successfully cloned and sequenced a portion of the FSH receptor.
Current projects focusing on complete gene sequencing for FSHR, along with identification of the FSHß and LHß genes. |
