Spring 2018 Practice LSAT

The Spring 2018 Practice LSAT (Law School Admission Tests) will be administered on Saturday, January 27 and Saturday, February 17 at 8 a.m. in Room 105 Martin Hall. The exam will last until approximately noon. The practice test is free but preregistration is required. Registration for the January 27 practice will open on January 10 and close on January 23. Registration for the February 17 practice test will open on February 1 and close on February 14. Notification of registration information will be sent by the School of Arts and Humanities Office of Academic Services. If you have questions before then, please call our office at 256/782-8335 or come by 107 Martin Hall.

Law School Fair February 1, 2018

Pre-Law Students,

We would like to bring your attention to an opportunity to visit Tuscaloosa for their annual Law School Fair on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m.. Law school representatives from schools across the country will be present. A list of participating schools will be provided to you closer to Feb. 1.

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate in this trip as part of an official university event and will be excused from classes on Feb. 1.

  1. Only sophomore, juniors, and seniors are eligible. All majors are eligible.
  2. Students must have taken ONE of the two free, practice LSATs given at JSU in Fall 2017 (September 9 or October 7).
  3. OR have sat for an OFFICIAL LSAT given during 2017. These students will be required to provide proof of their official LSAT registration.

Space is limited since we will be traveling in university vehicles. The deadline to register for the law fair visit and be considered to participate in the event is Monday, December 4, 2017.
