DIRECTIONS FROM THE CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT TO THE THREE REUNION HOTELS:
- by taxi, assume the price will be around 50 euro. More expensive but easier, as you do not have to carry your luggage and do not worry about directions!!
For option #2 and #3, there is some walking involved with your luggage:
- by special bus, called "Roissybus" which, for 8.40 euro, will drop you next to the (main) Opera House, in the center of Paris. Then, after a small walk and for about 1,50 euro, you take the metro, line 14 (line color is dark purple) - at the station "Pyramides" direction Bibliothèque Francois Mitterand and stop at station "Bercy" (3rd stop) for the Mercure, at station "Cour St Emilion" (4th stop) for the Sofitel. For those going to the Novotel (you have two changes), take the metro, line 8 (line color is light purple) - at the station "Opera" direction Balard and stop at the station "Madeleine" (1st stop), then go to and take line 12 (line color is dark green) from that station "Madeleine" direction "Mairie d'Issy" and stop at station "Vaugirard" (12th stop).
- by RER, line B (the RER is a fast metro). Then, 8 euro, it is like for the special bus, except that the stop is in a different location, you should stop at the "Chatelet" station. Then for the Mercure and the Sofitel, you take the metro on line 14 at the station "Chatelet" (instead of Pyramides) and you stop as previously indicated (as per the Roissybus above). For the Novotel, (you have two changes again), take the metro, line 4 (line color is purple) - at the station "Chatelet" direction Porte d'Orleans and stop at the station "Montparnasse Bienvenue" (7th stop), then go to and take line 12 (line color is dark green) from that station "Montparnasse Bienvenue" direction "Mairie d'Issy" and stop at station "Vaugirard" (4th stop).
