Students are admitted prior to the beginning of each semester. Applications for admission along with a non-refundable application fee of $30.00 (check or money order in U. S. dollars made payable to Jacksonville State University) should be submitted to

It is strongly recommended that students apply six to nine months prior to the expected date of enrollment. It is the student's responsibility to see that their high school or college transcript and ACT/SAT scores are submitted. These documents must be mailed to JSU directly from the high school, college, or testing agency. Decisions regarding admissibility to the University will be made as soon as all necessary credentials are received in the Office of Admissions.
