Application for Admission

Please note: Effective September 15^th 2008, the Admissions Application Fee increased to $30.

If you have ever attended JSU as an Undergraduate Student, it is not necessary that you reapply.  To update your Student Status, please visit the Office of the Registrar online and choose Update Student Status.

Applying for admission to Jacksonville State University is as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Complete the application for admission.

2. Submit the $30 (USD) non-refundable application fee.

3. Submit all required documents for your admission type (please refer to How do I Attend? to find your requirements).
   
   Note: Due to document requirements and/or processing needs, the following students are asked to complete an Undergraduate Printable Application and submit it by mail or in person: Accelerated High School or Dual Enrollment.
   
   Undergraduate Readmission Students (previously applied within the past two years but never attended) must complete an Undergraduate Printable Application, but do not have to pay the $30 application fee. Also, undergraduate students who have attended JSU before and want to return as an undergraduate will not need to apply again.

On-line Application

Undergraduate Freshman Student - Complete this application if you have never attended college before or if you only attended college while you were in high school. There is a $30 non-refundable fee that must be paid by credit card when you submit this application.

Undergraduate Transfer Student - Complete this application if you have attended another college. Complete this application if you want to be a Transient Student. There is a $30 non-refundable fee that must be paid by credit card when you submit this application.

International Undergraduate Freshman Student - Complete this application if you are an international student who has never attended college in the United States; complete this application even if you have attended college in your country. There is a $30 non-refundable fee that must be paid by credit card when you submit this application.

International Undergraduate Transfer Student - Complete this application if you are an international student who has attended college in the United States. There is a $30 non-refundable fee that must be paid by credit card when you submit this application.

Printable Application
The application can also be completed by printing the Undergraduate Application for Admission (to view and print the application, you must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer).  Once you have printed and completed your application, please mail it along with your application fee ($30 USD check or money order) to:
